They are also used on stainless steel casting or other non-ferrous components where ferrous blast residue would cause problems. Zinc Aluminum alloy Blast, due to its dense structure, can be very effective in removing flashes up to 40% of their diameter. Blasting with Zinc Blast will give a frosty surface finish to components without leaving any ferrous residues.
