Zamak zinc-base die casting alloy no. 3 has good fluidity and mechanical properties. ZAMAK3 zinc alloy can be divided into casting zinc alloy and deformed zinc alloy according to the manufacturing process. The yield of cast alloy is much higher than that of deformed alloy.

In the alloy composition, the available alloying elements are aluminum, copper and magnesium. Harmful impurity elements: lead, cadmium, tin, iron. Some residual impurities obviously affect the properties of die - cast zinc alloy. Therefore, the content of impurities such as iron, lead, cadmium and tin is strictly limited, with the upper limit of 0.005%, 0.004%, 0.003% and 0.02% respectively. Therefore, high-purity zinc with purity greater than 99.99% should be used as raw materials for die casting zinc alloy
